This is weird i am a die hard wwe fan, but this Joseph Park character is the best damn gimmick with a man who plays it TOO well. It's even better then the characters they tried to make out to b a underdog such as him in the attitude era, and I've only watched tna once when they had the open fight might and he debut. It's genius a guy who is a average joe with a Hugh heart and u can't help but enjoy/feel his spirit. I hope they keep this character just as he is. Underdog.

This PPV gave me reason to take a break from wresting until after Wrestlemania. The next few months are as predictable as any I can remember in the 20 years I've watched.

Great debut! And you helped me realize what had been bothering me about Tazz's heel turn: Bully Ray should've been the one to join Aces & Eights instead!

It might've been "predictable," but at the very least, it'd give some logic to Aces & Eights ("Ohh heyyy, another Team 3D reunion!") while also building off the strong tease of a Hogan-Bully angle. Sure, Bully Ray as the top face works, but they could easily balance things out by pulling the trigger on an Austin Aries or Bobby Roode tweener/face turn if they'd kept Bully Ray heel.

I'm just talking about how women can get over in general. Tina Fey and Amy Pohler are ridiculously talented. They aren't bombshells. Kim Kardashian is ridiculously over, but it's all because of her looks. I don't see any Tina Fey's and Amy Pohler's ready to break through in wrestling. Mostly Kim K wannabes. So if you take away the sexual part of it, you've strapped them.

I also think women's wrestling has always sort of been this way. Was the Fabulous Moolah ever a main eventer? What about Sherri Martel? Even Madusa was never put in that role. I remember Trish Stratus and Lita main eventing one Raw show.

In MMA, they've had two chances. Gina Carano was amazingly over for a short time but it was more so because of her looks and charm even though she was a good fighter. Now, there's Ronda Rousey who isn't as attractive, but is an insanely talented athlete. But if she starts losing, she won't be over as much as she is.

I think at the end of the day, the chances to get over are few and far between and if you're not going to be able to use your looks to get over, you better be insanely talented. I'm not sure I see insanely talented in either women's crews.

I'm cautiously optimistic, if only because of the way the crowd reacted to the Kaitlyn-Eve Divas Title match at RAW's 20th Anniversary show. The hometown pops aside, the audience seemed legitimately invested in the match, which was a quality bout of decent length. I thought Eve played a decent heel but was a better babyface in her role as WWE's Wonder Woman; she could've been the next Trish Stratus if given the proper time to develop before her departure.

But you're right, it's difficult to predict who'll get over with the casual audience. Both companies have their hands tied, but I don't think hypersexualized gimmicks need to be the way anymore. The Attitude Era was a decade ago and this newer audience doesn't share our nostalgia.

Just as important as Kong and Kim in the growth of the Knockouts was the Beatiful People. Their act was one of the better ones in the entire company. I'm not sure women's wrestling can necessarily be fixed because especially in WWE. If we remember where the Divas even came from, it came from an era where they were pushing the sexual envelope. So now, they can't do that and it's harder to get over. Trish was a bombshell until she became an amazing wrestler. These poor girls can't even become bombshells first to get over.

I think Finley is back and he's the one who worked with the divas to set up their matches and get them to represent able TV level. I think Lance Storm worked with them from time to time as well. And now Sara Del Ray is able to help too. I just don't know that anyone gets over enough these days for fans to care. Nice job.

It's sad how the Knockouts division in TNA, once a focal point, is now shoved to the wayside. In a bit of twisted irony, Gail Kim cited WWE's neglect of the Divas division for her second departure, only to face the same neglect upon her return to TNA.

My big concern is oversaturation and viewer exhaustion. If you put SmackDown on Tuesdays, you could potentially have FOUR straight nights of wrestling on a PPV week, three of them live. If you factor in Saturday Morning Slam (a throwaway show), that's five straight days of wrestling from Saturday through Wednesday.

I think we all have known that Taker wouldn't lose a match at Wrestlemania, however the story telling has been exciting even if you knew who was going to win. Makes it difficult to accept that aspect of your rebuttal. However, Taker as champ is the only flaw in the Streak vs Streak match. I agree he likely couldn't handle a title run and secondly doesn't even need it. His legacy is in place. However if he decided to retire it would be a good way to go out, as champ, retire the next night, bring back a King of the Ring style tournament for Extreme Rules for Punk to get the title back.

I'd rather have an IC match than a 2 minute Divas match thrown in to fill time.

Loving the streak vs. streak idea. I don't like Rock as champion at all. I don't mind if he sweeps it up, but there should at least be some regular TV time, because as it stands, it makes no sense for him to be champion from a storytelling perspective.
